Organisation and profile settings
The Settings page holds your personal details, your organisation’s details and your display preferences. Open it from Settings in the sidebar. Everything on this page is on the General tab.
Update your profile
The Account Information card shows your name, date of birth, email and User Type (your role).
- On Account Information, click Edit.
- Update First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth (optional) or Email.
- Click Save Changes.
Changing your email sends confirmation links to both your current and your new address. The change only applies once you’ve confirmed both. Until then, Account Information shows the change as pending.
You can’t change your role here. A Business Admin changes roles from the Users tab. See Managing users.
Update your organisation
Everyone can see the Organization card. Only Business Admins can edit it.
- On Organization, click Edit.
- In Edit Organisation, update any of these:
- Organisation Name
- Default Locale and Default Timezone. These apply to users you invite from now on, and each person can change their own later.
- MFA challenge frequency. This sets how often people with two-factor authentication must enter a code. See Two-factor authentication.
- Click Save Changes. The page refreshes to apply the change.
The Slug (Tenant ID) is permanent and can’t be changed.
Set your locale and time zone
Your locale sets how dates and numbers are formatted. Your time zone sets the time zone Scrya shows times in.
- In Locale & Timezone, choose a Locale and a Timezone.
- Click Save Locale Settings. The page reloads with your new settings.
These settings only affect what you see. Other people keep their own settings.
Switch between light and dark mode
- In the top bar, click the sun or moon icon.
- Choose Light, Dark or System. System follows your device’s setting.
Scrya saves your choice in this browser only. On another browser or device, you’ll need to choose again.
Troubleshooting
- The Edit button on Organization is missing. Only Business Admins can edit organisation settings.
- Your email change hasn’t applied. Check both inboxes and click both confirmation links.
- An error with an ERR reference. Quote the reference to support. See Error references.
