Audit log

The audit log records changes to your organisation’s data: who made each change, when, and which fields changed. Nobody can edit or delete audit records, including your own team.

Who can see it

Business Admins and Business Users can open Audit Log from the sidebar. Customers can’t see it.

View recent changes

  1. Click Audit Log in the sidebar.
  2. In Time Range, choose a period, from Last 1 hour up to Last 30 days, or All.
  3. Review Recent Changes.

The list shows up to the 200 most recent changes in that range. It refreshes every minute, or you can click Refresh.

Each row shows:

  • Table: the type of record, such as Customers, Verification Requests, Addresses or Profiles
  • Operation: INSERT (created), UPDATE (changed) or DELETE (removed)
  • Changed By: the display name of the person who made the change. System appears when no person is recorded, such as an automatic update by Scrya. It also appears for users whose Display Name is blank.
  • Date & Time
  • Details: the fields that changed

Time range is the only filter. You can’t filter by person or record type.

History of a single record

Customer and request pages have a Change History section at the bottom. Click it to expand. Each entry shows who made the change, when, and the previous and new value of each field that changed.

What’s recorded

Scrya records creates, changes and deletions for:

  • customers and verification requests
  • wallet addresses and exchange connections, and their balances
  • verification checks
  • your organisation’s details
  • user profiles

Sensitive values never go into the audit log. That includes wallet signatures, signed messages and exchange API credentials. The log only notes that one of these fields changed, not its value.

How long entries are kept

Audit entries are kept for 24 months, then deleted automatically. When you erase a customer’s data, Scrya also deletes the audit entries about them. See Exporting or erasing customer data.

Troubleshooting

  • “No changes recorded”. Choose a longer time range, or All.
  • A permission message. Only Business Admins and Business Users can view the audit log.
  • An error with an ERR reference. Quote it to support. See Error references.
